Despite the green narrative, renewable energy sources face inherent limitations. Solar and wind power depend entirely on weather conditions; when the sun isn’t shining or the wind isn’t blowing, energy production halts. To compensate, massive investments in batteries—expensive and subject to wear and tear—are necessary, along with extensive new infrastructure such as poles and wires that compromise prime agricultural land.

Moreover, the best sites for solar and wind facilities are already in use, forcing new projects to settle for less optimal—and more costly—locations. This depletes investment appeal, especially given that much of the manufacturing of solar panels and turbines occurs in China, often powered by coal-fired electricity, which raises environmental concerns.
