From nearly 158,000 units sold in 2025, comprising both EVs and plug-in hybrids (FEVs), the numbers are expected to surge further. When isolating EVs alone, sales surpassed 100,000 units in 2025, representing more than a sixfold increase from preceding years and emphasizing the market's aggressive growth trajectory.
