The Shrinking Male Engagement in Dating
Many women lament the disappearance of men from dating events and social venues altogether. They report that at mixers, church singles nights, or other gatherings, either too few men attend, or the men present are not interested in serious relationships. The common perception is that men prefer staying home or focus solely on their careers and health, leaving little room for traditional dating efforts.
Interestingly, some women speculate that men are simply doing their own thing and wish to be left alone, asserting that men aren't interested in dating anymore—an observation reinforced by the lack of men in these social spaces. This has led women to question whether men still derive pleasure from dating or if they’ve lost interest altogether.
