Putin is reportedly eager for Trump’s victory because it could facilitate Russia’s escape from its own domestic and international vulnerabilities. Meanwhile, China is more interested in trade deals rather than direct engagement in Middle Eastern conflicts, especially as its energy dependency diminishes due to strategic containment by US-led alliances controlling critical straits and energy routes.
