Part 7/14:
Accumulated life experience grants senior men exceptional pattern recognition. They’ve seen countless relationship cycles—honeymoon euphoria, chemical masking of flaws, gradual routine, boredom, resentment, and eventual fallout. This wisdom makes them highly discerning, almost ruthlessly selective.
They can identify red flags and manipulative tendencies within moments. Knowing how chemicals like dopamine and oxytocin distort perception of potential partners, they understand that many youthful pursuits are fleeting illusions. Because they know “the movie” all too well, they prefer to avoid getting cast in the same tragic roles. They deal in the reality of behavior, not potential, and reject relationships that do not meet their standards of peace.
