Steps to Prepare Chicken Saltimbocca
Begin by preheating your cast iron skillet over medium-high heat. Meanwhile, bring water to boil for the angel hair pasta and warm some marinara sauce in a separate pot.
Next, season the chicken breast on both sides with salt and pepper. Then, take the sage leaves and prosciutto and wrap them around the chicken. This step infuses the chicken with wonderful flavors.
With olive oil heated in the skillet, add the chicken pieces and cook until they are golden brown and cooked through. The safe internal temperature for chicken is around 160°F. Once done, remove the chicken from the skillet and let it rest on a platter.
