Now it’s time to savor the marinade. Generously apply it all over the chicken, rubbing it in thoroughly. Make sure to flip the chicken over and repeat on the other side. For an extra flavor boost, lift the skin and apply the marinade underneath, especially on the thighs and breast.
It’s worth noting that if the marinade is a little runny, don’t worry—it will still yield a mouthwatering result.
If you can, let the chicken marinate in the fridge for about 30 minutes. However, if you're short on time, you can proceed directly to baking.
Preparing the Baking Tray
Next, transfer your marinated chicken onto a baking tray. A cast iron skillet is ideal for this, but a regular baking tray will work just as well.
