Once the 20 minutes are up and the pressure has released, your gizzards should be cooked to tenderness. Inspect the contents and transfer to another pot for better visibility.
The Secret Ingredient
While the dish is practically finished, we can elevate it further. Create a mixture of half a cup of water and one tablespoon of onion cream (a seasoning found in supermarkets). Stir this mixture well and set it aside.
Just before serving, crop your gizzard stew into a pot with added warmth, achieve a gentle boil, and stir in the onion cream mixture. This will add a creamy thickness to your dish, making it absolutely irresistible when served over rice.
