Ensure that your milk doesn’t boil over during this time; if it begins to bubble too much, remove it from the heat as it will remain warm. Once the egg-sugar mixture reaches the desired texture, it’s time to slowly incorporate the dry ingredients. Add the flour mix and combine on low speed until just combined.
Combining Ingredients for the Batter
Once the flour is mostly mixed in, gradually add the warm milk mixture while continuing to mix on low. After this, add 1 1/2 teaspoons of vanilla extract to enhance the flavor. The batter will exude a lovely custard-like aroma.
