Carrot: One large carrot, ideally cut into matchsticks using a julienne slicer for uniformity. If you don’t have one, a knife or box grater works too.
Ground Beef: One pound of lean ground beef (an 80/20 ratio works best).
Cooking Steps
Sauté the Beef: Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat, add a splash of oil, and sauté the ground beef for roughly five minutes until cooked through and lightly browned. Once ready, transfer it to a separate dish but keep as much oil in the skillet as possible.
Cook the Vegetables: If needed, add a touch more olive oil to the skillet, then toss in all your prepped veggies. Sauté over medium-high heat for 2 to 3 minutes until they are crisp-tender, being careful not to overcook them.
