Step 4: Cooking the Pasta
While you're preparing the sauce, boil 400 g of pasta in salted water. Make sure to cook it according to package instructions until it’s al dente, then drain it.
After the sauce has thickened to your preference, add the browned chicken back into the pan. However, as noted in the recipe, the dish can be made without chicken—using just mushrooms if you prefer.
Step 5: Bringing it All Together
Transfer the cooked pasta into the pan with the creamy sauce mixture. You’ll want to cook everything together for about 2 minutes, allowing the pasta to absorb some of the sauce flavors.
For an extra touch of freshness and aroma, chop some parsley and sprinkle it over the finished dish.
