Cooking the Rice and Cucumber Salad
For the jasmine rice, a straightforward approach was utilized. The rice was combined with 1.5 cups of water, a tablespoon of avocado oil, and a few pinches of sea salt. After bringing the mixture to a boil, the heat was lowered to allow for a gentle simmer while covered.
The cucumber salad, a fresh side dish, was also prepared. This simple yet flavorful dressing contained:
1 tablespoon of rice vinegar
1 teaspoon of hoisin sauce
1/2 teaspoon of Samyang chili sauce
1/4 teaspoon of sesame oil
