Packaging and Final Touches
The finished peanut butter is prepared for retail display with meticulous attention to hygiene. Jars—either plastic or glass—are sterilized using UV light or hot air. The peanut butter is then precisely dispensed into these containers using automated filling machines, minimizing spillage and ensuring uniform weight.
Immediate sealing with vacuum or pressure caps follows to prevent contamination. Labels bearing branding, nutritional facts, ingredients, and expiration dates are applied, and each jar receives batch codes and manufacturing dates for traceability—an essential step for quality control and recalls if necessary.
