While the cauliflower bakes, a simple pizza sauce is made by mixing hummus (preferably spicy) with tomato paste, herbs, thyme, salt, and pepper. The dough is divided into two and rolled out into rectangles fitting the baking tray. The sauce is spread evenly across both bases.

Once the cauliflower is roasted and coated with remaining barbecue sauce, it is distributed over the pizzas. The pizzas are baked for another 20 minutes until golden. A quick garlic yogurt sauce—made with plant-based yogurt, crushed garlic, and sliced green onion—is drizzled on top after baking, adding a fresh and garlicky flavor.
