I don´t think that THIS will be the nail in Hive's coffin.
But good point, ONE name would be better. There is even a Hive technology out which is not connected to us...https://www.hiveblockchain.com/
A rebranding would maybe helpful. But I don´t know if this is still possible. I personal think Hive has a great potential if all hold together, let the greed goooo and pimp up everything here. Would love to see Hive on the web summit next year for example, or on more summits and events. That would be super cool. Lets wait and see, maybe maybe this will all happen and we will see refreshing news :)
