After seeing that my HP in my wallet surpassed 1000 🥳, I decided to check out the PeakD dashboard to see how it had grown. While I was delighted to see the increase in HP, I noticed that I had been receiving curation rewards of a little over 10 cents daily for the past two weeks. Wow!
Given the current exchange rate and prices in Germany, it feels like I could treat myself with two delicious ice creams, or maybe just a tad short of that. Ice cream is delightful, isn't it?
I know half of the rewards are given in HP and other half is usable right away. So in reality, it's just one ice cream, but that's still a treat 🍨
After seeing the curation reward, I decided to review my settings on Hive Vote to improve it even more. Hive Vote is a service that auto-upvotes (or downvotes) posts and comments based on your preferences. I decreased one curation trail and added another. Instead of aiming for more rewards, I found myself gravitating towards authors who produce genuinely interesting posts I enjoy reading.
While I want to earn, I hesitate to automatically upvote content I'm unlikely to read. Plus, I fear that a careless upvote on a controversial post such as "celebrating a certain ideology!" would be permanently recorded on the blockchain.
Another thing I noticed on PeakD dashboard was my low Voting Mana. I often felt gratified by comments and would instinctively upvote them. I knew it wasn't the best strategy to increase rewards, but I somehow got into the habit of upvoting comments as well. Ja, I try to stop this habit.
I wonder if these changes will make a difference. I'd like to review periodically and share my findings 😊

ウォレットでHPが1000を超えたのを見て、どんな増え方をしたのか久しぶりにPeakDのダッシュボードを開いてみました。HPののびもうれしかったのですが、この2週間ほど、1日あたり大体10セント強のキュレーション報酬をもらえていることがわかりました。
日本円にすると15円ほどですが、1カ月で450円。今の為替レートでドイツの物価だと、2回おいしいアイスを食べられるかな、ちょっと足りないかなという感じです。アイスおいしいですよね・・・寒いから今年は全然食べていませんが 😅
報酬の半分はHPでもらえるので、すぐに使えるのは半分なので、実際にはアイス1つですが、それでもうれしいです。
欲が出てきて、久しぶりにHive Voteの設定を見直すことにしました 🤑 Hive Voteは設定に基づいて自動的にupvote（downvote）してくれる便利なサービスです。キュレーショントレイルは一つ減らして一つ増やしましたが、結果的には稼げる方向に振るというよりも、実際に読んでいるおもしろい投稿を書く人たちに振ることになりました。
稼ぎたいですが、自動とはいえ、自分が読まなさそうな投稿にupvoteするのはなんとなく気が引けるし、さらにもし「特定の主義万歳」みたいな投稿にupvoteしてしまったらブロックチェーンに永遠に記録が残るのでこわいです。
PeakDのダッシュボードでは、voting mana が少ないのが気になり、ここも改善したいと思いました。コメントもらえるとうれしくて、とりあえずぽちぽちupvoteしていたのをやめようと思いました。報酬を上げるためにはあまりしない方がよいことは知っていたのですが、なんとなく癖でコメントもupvoteしてしまっていました。
さてさて、効果は上がるでしょうか。また定期的に見直して投稿したいです 😊

Hive Voteは私も、自分が応援しているアカウントをFanbaseに設定している感じです。読むより前にupvoteすることになるので、基本的にはこれまでに交流があって、信頼しているアカウントだけです😃なので戦略もあるようなないような… 今度まとめてみたいと思います！
