Services provided over the internet and paid for with magic internet money are not subject to federal or state taxes in the country you live in if you choose to stay digital. If you don't use your country's financial system, roads, public lighting, etc. You don't owe them taxes.

I think of it like doing business on Mars or on a parallel, underground digital city that is completely separate from the city you live in.

Not taxable.

If you choose to stay on the internet, you need ways to exchange value that are reliable, fast and cheap that can't be seized by an entity that doesn't agree with this philosophy.

This is what I found in DASH.

What is DASH?

Dash was launched on January 18, 2014, by Evan Duffield. This guy:
He had proposed adding anonymization to Bitcoin in 2012 but, but was rejected, So he said FTS! and forked Bitcoin’s codebase to create Dash, although it wasn't called Dash back then.

Originally named XCoin and later Darkcoin, it rebranded to Dash (a blend of "Digital" and "Cash") which is exactly what DASH is.

Dash master nodes

Dash pioneered a two-tier network. Beyond miners, masternodes provide advanced services like PrivateSend, InstantSend, and governance. Masternode operators share 45% of block rewards, incentivizing network support.

Masternodes are basically servers that host full copies of the blockchain. Masternodes must be backed by collateral of 1,000 Dash, and in return their operators receive regular payment for running and keeping the network secure. As highly committed custodians of the project, masternode operators are given the opportunity to vote each month on up to 10% of the block reward to fund community projects supporting the Dash ecosystem. This is known as the Dash DAO.

DASH DAO

Similar to the Hive DHF, Dash also has a Decentralized Autonomous Organization (DAO), A network of people that communicate via the Dash protocol to reach consensus on which projects should be funded with newly minted Dash (Block rewards). Dash’s decentralized governance system, launched in 2015, allows masternode operators to vote on development proposals. As mentioned above portion of block rewards (10%) funds approved projects, making Dash one of the first self-funded blockchains.

Why I like Dash

Fast, cheap and private

I tested out one of DASH's most popular wallets called DashPay Mobile on my Android device and I was pleasantly surprised. It's easy to set up with NO KYC. No ID, no email, nothing. Just create some private keys and keep them in a safe place like a USB stick that's not connected to the internet or a piece of paper.

I already had some DASH in a Keystore wallet which works great on desktop, but I needed something more user friendly and mobile. Sending DASH from my Keystore to my DashPay Mobile wallet was practically instant. It made a cool jingle sound when the coins arrived on my mobile device and the fee was basically nothing.

These two features were already good enough for me, but Dash has another feature that I found REALLY useful: PrivateSend, a feature that mixes your transactions with other transactions as well as input and output addresses to mathematically make it virtually impossible to trace.

Here's a video of Amanda B. Johnson from Dash Detailed explaining the ins and outs of PrivateSend.

These are some of the reasons I've placed one of these lovely stickers on the front door of my business:

Looks great, wouldn't you agree?

As I continue to use @dashpay, I keep discovering new features. For example, Dash recently announced its full integration into the Zypto ecosystem, making it possible to:

  • Privately pay all your bills in many countries
  • Buy prepaid cards and gift cards
  • Use Zypto's NFC card cold storage option

I'm still in the process of learning more about DASH, but as it is, it's a pretty cool option to have in my book.
I believe that the outcome of blockchain technology is NOT one blockchain to rule them all and every other blockchain goes to zero.

Sorry Maxis.

I think some chains have unique benefits, development teams and communities and can be used together or for different purposes. Aside from HIVE, I believe DASH is a good one.

Have you used DASH?

Great review!

One relatively small thing: Dash's treasury is 20% now. Miners are 20%, masternodes and EvoNodes are 60%.

Also this video is cool in explaining how its two blockchains work:

Thanks Joël, I'll make that correction. This is one of many pieces of content I intend to make about DASH. I'm a firm believer we can use a few different #freedomtools for different purposes. In some cases, devs will find ways of making them work together.

My point is: The future is multi-chain.

Forget toxicity. Let's promote Peace & Pumps.

Good stuff!

Send stickers.

You can go here to get some designs to get them printed:

I love that you always have answers! Thank you! I will absolutely get these made. I will add this as part of my review of DASH. I got lots of help getting my DashPay, then my premium name and I'm even going to get my business listed as a DASH merchant.

Thank you so much. Five stars, would recommend.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Have you thought of a merch store for Dash? We've had some over the years, but none currently. Could be a nice side business if you take Dash.

Haven‘t had DASH on my radar so far but the private payment function sounds really interesting. Will check that out. Thanks Alex. 👍🏻

You can hold dash with a keystore (same one you use on [LEODEX])(https://leodex.io/) and send it do your DashPay Mobile wallet. Super user friendly.

What is a keystore?

A Keystore is a file format used for storing private keys in JSON format. You can keep them on a USB stick for example and use it to log into LEODEX. You can create a keystore right on the site.

Try it.

Ah ok. Thanks for clarifying

I doubt payments using crypto would still be non taxable for long. Once the government sees its massive acceptance from the public, they will surely control it.

Disagree. Non- KYC digital assets cannot be traced to you if they remain digital. If you choose to provide ID, use banks or other tools, that's on you.

This is the reason CBDCs (Central Bank Digital Currencies) are being developed, so they can tax you.

That's why practicing privacy with your digital assets is important.

dash could be a great token but the people doest bet for it :D, we need do it bigger with inleo :

Speculation is one thing. You can make millions "betting" on meme coins. Privacy is much more important in my opinion.

so much users preffer win money quicly that bet in coins with a great future :D

I think Dash is a solid choice for private and fast transactions. I'm impressed by its two-tier network with masternodes and the DAO system for funding projects. My take is that Dash offers some unique benefits that make it a good option.

Have you tried using it?

Not yet but I’ve read a lot about it

I won’t lie…
I have no DASH but you’re a big influencer so DASH is a must have…

I'm just a regular guy doing what I can to fight bank, government and corporate control of my assets.

It’s a good thing
Keep it up!
