If the leodex "swap" button is greyed out, does that mean there's not enough liquidity to do the swap? Testing BTC to HIVE swaps with $5. I also have about $5 in ArbETH for fees.

Sort:

swap is too small. btc network fees are likely $5 alone, so btc swaps are probably best in larger amounts.

I tried doing am $18 swap with an $0.80 estimated fee. It's still greyed out. Is the swap still too small? seems like the issue might be something else.

not sure why it's estimating such a low fee. btc mainnet fees are usually like $5 or so if i'm not mistaken. smallest BTC swap i've done is like $50.

$100 seems to work with a $6 associated fee

this looks more like it

I'll try with something above $50 in a bit; see if that works.

Probably the fees plus the swap exceed what you are holding.

Nah, I've got like $5 in ArbETH for fees.

Can you go to Leo?

I can go from other coins to HIVE, but I can't seem to swap out of btc.

For some reason BTC is an issue. I dont know what it is.

@l337m45732 any ideas about this.

usually the issue with BTC swaps is the amount. small swaps typically do not work.

Let me check

I have no swap.btc so it is greyed out, but if I switch it to swap.hive (that I have) then I can swap. Do you have swap.btc?

I don't think leodex uses swap.btc or swap.hive. I'm pretty sure it uses L1 assets. I'm using Keystore where I have ArbETH, ETH on Ethereum, BTC, and a few others.

I also seem to have enough ArbETH for fees.

Sorry, I mixed up leodex with tribaldex :( my bad
