Hi,
at the start of last year, I've managed to have a good presence in here, mostly due to the fact that I was not travelling for and to work.
Now that the home office time came close to an end, I see that my engagement is lower than at that time, even with #Threads around.
I was thinking to motivate myself and for the next two weeks, to post 500 comments.
As of today, I've got, 7729 posted comments, which can be tracked with @hivebuzz the super tool offered by @arcange. For this, he deserves a witness vote.
So, in two weeks, there shall be at least, 8229 comments shown. Why 500 and why 2 weeks? Well, I know that I will have to drive roundabout 4000 km and will have a lot of meetings. It is a sporty target, but manageable.
Well, I do this, just to get back in the game with commenting, as it is a habit that needs to be built up. When I started on Hive, I took different challenges of 30 days continuous writing, which turned into a habit. I tend to write daily, as it relaxes me.
There are several benefits of this challenge:
- networking, people feel connected and in touch
- improves writing and speech
- it creates different links, that help leofinance.io and hive in general
These are only a few, as there are many other more.
Comments will count on #threads and post replies.
So, let's see it in two weeks, if I manage to reach it.

No. I will not. I do not even count how many comments I write. I write a comment, if I have something meaningful to say/ask/answer. This is not a challenge, but the natural, genuine usage of the platform.
Not sure I wan't to challenge myself with 500 comments in the next 2 weeks but I will challenge myself after I am back from the forrest stones.

That's a nice target! With focus it is achievable.
Comments are a great way to engage and imperative that everyone pick up their act.

I think it's a good challenge. Commenting doesn't just help you improve visibility but it motivates the writer and encourage them to share more valuable information.
