for today's #AskLeo, the tag by @acesontop, I want to ask you if you HODL, and how much?
The question came to me, after reading the post from @silverstackeruk, and his way of dealing with his stack. I think his nickname gives a good hint about it, but please check it.
As I ask, I will answer first.
I do HODL. For most projects, I'm setting up a target, that needs to be reached, and after I reach it, I HODL. If the project is producing a cashflow, 1/3 is stacked so that the project is growing, 1/3 is changed into income producing stables and 1/3 is funding other targets.
The last ones can be also risk projects, where a 5x-10x can be gained in a few weeks.
On the speculation projects, sometimes I do a full exit, as most projects are short-lived and vanish after a few months. I would call them booster projects, as they help leverage the funds.
I remember that 2016, when I re-entered crypto. In those 5 years I kept adding token by token, project by project to my portfolio. Could I have performed better by selling and rebuying? Of course, but I also would have probably lost it all.
Crypto is still growing, as we are still at the start, and more people are coming everyday in. The thing is to choose the right projects, as the more people involved with crypto, the more scammers there will be around, and also the more projects will get bust. The ones that succeed will be then the real gems, the ones that will give us a lot more opportunity to our lives.

Yes, right now I am Hodling everything I stake. I have only been in this a couple of years and I am trying to reach a couple of goals. One being Dolphin Status in Hive. I am almost there. And then when I hit that I will keep on staking and hodling.

Oh yes, I HODL, as much as I possibly can. In the beginning, I was really shy about putting money into the Blockchain but lately, I am becoming a much more aggressive investor as I see Hive as my ticket to a very wealthy retirement.
I hear you, very wealthy and why not early or earlier retirement.
