Hi,
as the markets have hit new ATH, even with the dips and corrections that we have, we are still on a growing trend, and here I think we will see new ATH, we have also an increase of crypto users on a global scale.
Of course the tweets of some influencers outside the crypto world and the massive buys by institutional players helped to raise the awareness. I hope it is awareness and not FOMO, as FOMO can scare people with 23% dips as we had these days. For a crypto person, such big swings shall be normal.
We can say that we need mass adoption, but the mass adoption is here, we only need to take care of the newcomers, so that they remain and bring also their friends and family in this world. I gave my dad this year some crypto. My dad is not into computers, can't barely turn one on. He has now a wallet on his mobile, where he got some small amount from me. He likes the idea and the concept. Also, I needed to teach him, via a messenger service how to operate it as he lives in another country. He got it, even if crypto is not so easy as an ATM, but he got it and he understands the financial concept behind.
I see a lot of people, like my dad coming into crypto, some helped by friends and family, some because of curiosity. It is important that they also remain in here. Here, looking at the adoption chart, I think we have more people that remain.
We have countries that try to ban crypto, but they are doing this against their own people. Nigeria and India, two countries where crypto is needed and can help millions of people come out of poverty, crypto is banned. Richer countries like Norway, South Korea or Switzerland are embracing it as they see that it brings even more riches to their people and economical space. Money (crypto) spent in one place helps with the development as more people will want to offer better services and products to get that funds.
So, please look in your circle out to crypto starters and help them. Help them avoid scams and teach them the basics, the fundamentals. Explain to them why they shall remain in crypto, despite the market fluctuation and on what range they shall analyse crypto (5-10 years minimum). Imagine to have 10x of people that are using it now in 5 years! World changer!

I completely agree that things are changing. My dad asked me about crypto and my earnings on HIVE. He told me to sell anything I got on HIVE and move to BTC but I refused. Either way, it seems like BTC is far more accepted than what it was before but people still have a huge distrust of smaller less known cryptos.

I like that dads are real curious about cryptos. My mom is more technical than my dad, but she asked me one thing, do you understand what you are doing..I said yes, she said...go for it then!

It's the opposite for me. My dad is more technical than my mom but yea BTC is making the news. This is why there is so much hype and they generally have a huge distrust for the smaller alt-coins. They consider BTC a good alternative because it hasn't crashed even after a decade of being bashed.

BEER.I tried to convince my dad back when bitcoin as at 3K to try it out just for fun but he’s not interested at all.
I saw a guy that gave a few delivery workers crypto as a tip, a post card with the public and private keys for them to withdraw from! This is a great way to spread awareness to everyone, I’m sure those guys told their friends about it!
This was a couple of years ago so the $5 tip is worth a LOT MORE now ($400 or something like that)
Cool idea to raise awareness! I might spread some small wallets like this in the city!

Crypto is growing, that is true. However, we need to remember that 100 million is just a small drop in the bucket. We are going to see a lot more people.
Hive offers an easy wallet with a username that each of us sets. This makes life easier.
When we get some of the other social media apps rolling out, we will have a lot more to offer.
