Soon, many countries will be able to control the masses as the Chinese can. I don't know anyone who died from Covid but have heard of plenty who recovered, including an eighty years old one who refused the treatment the hospital gave to him. One thing is clear, the numbers are blown and the way protection measures are imposed is violating fundamental freedom rights.
Agree to disagree in here. From 11 employees of my father, 1 died (doctor) and 5 got infected, 4 fully recovered and 1 struggling after 4 months with a general weakness. All under 50. Also two have lost a parent that got infected. The situation is not that light and each body responds different. As you said, you know plenty who got lucky and recovered. I know both sides and never ever I wish someone to be on the bad side.
Why do you say that it is clear that the numbers are blown without a single fact? Also what fundamental freedom rights are violated?
We both are illiterate in terms of medicine, so far as I know, so leave it to the doctors. We would have mass protests from all doctors if this would be the case, but no, they are dying in masses trying to save as many as they can.
As said, no country would set itself for economic breakdown, as it is weaker to others. Russia has a very bad situation, far worse than Romania. They would have not done it. Putin would have never imposed a lockdown, which kills its already weak economy, but he did.

I know numbers are blown because I know death cases where they offered people money to accept covid as a death cause for their relatives that died from other cause.
They violated the fundamental right that we have over our own lives and health, over our freedom when they lock us down, our right to make a living when shutting down businesses and also our fundamental right to move free anywhere in this world.

It is not about your health, it is about the health of the weaker ones, the parents, the people with some disease that are endangered. I want to see my parents reach 90+ in good condition and I want to see others to. It is not about the healthy ones now.
Like said, the politicians have failed, a global lockdown of 4-5 weeks would have had a major impact and this thing would have been history. Read a little about the Spanish flu...

Based on this type of logic we should ban cigarettes, sweets, foods filled with chemicals, porn, overwork, McDonald's, booze, etc...
