LPUD which is also known as Leo Power Up Day is organised on the 15th of every month. This initiative was started in June 2022 and now since we are in January 2024 hence this has come a long way. I have been participating since the first event and till now I haven't even missed a single month through my participation. This has helped me a lot to build a better stake for the Leo power and in this post, I'm going to talk about why I power up on this event. Leo is a fantastic project on the hive chain and they are building multiple things. This is the only project that has got micro-blogging-like platform and I have seen it improving in the last few months.
My Power Up this month
I did power up for 687 Leo tokens and you can see on the willow snapshot where the date is showing as 16th January. Please don't get confused because this timing is as per India time but when I did the power up that time the event was still live for about 4 hours hence this is a gap of just the time zone. I also got this badge from hivebuzz that says, I have powered up more than 150 leo and it does not say the exact amount however it confirms my participation.
My Leo Power Stake
As of now, I have over 22K Leo power in my account. My goal for the last year 2023 was 20K however I surpassed it and I made it almost 22k. Now I hold 22619 leo power (to be precise) and this year I am planning to make it 35k Leo power. The one month is gone and in the remaining 11 months I need to have slightly more than 12K Leo power.
I hope it happens and I'll be trying my best to make it happen in fact buying from the market will be important for me because that is how I will be able to make it else through the earnings it is not possible. Even in the last year, I was able to buy a good number of tokens and this is why I surpassed my goal by 20% almost.
Why I participate in LPUD
Prior to joining this event my Leo Power was almost 4K and now in this one and half year time I have made it 22K which is like an addition of 18 k power roughly. On and over as I maintained a ratio of 1000 Leo power accumulation every month which I think is a good amount.
Inleo is a great project and the team is building a great web3 ecosystem and this will bring more value to Leo's token price. It is also going to benefit Hive a lot its based on Hive so holding HP and LP both are important. Both are undervalued undoubtedly but I expect that in the next few years, both will be valuable and then it might not be easy to grab more quantity. Web 3 is evolving and Leo has the only token in place hence it is expected that once the demand is higher for the token in the market then it will reflect as value appreciation.
Some initiatives like Advirtiserevenue and Evergreen reward are going to be game changers in the game and this will encourage more people to grow their leo power holding because they will be able to earn better rewards through bigger holding. I want to be part of this significant growth in web 3 and this is the reason why Building Now is a good idea and that too through a project that has proven its existence because the team is amazing and they are focused on building multiple things for the community. I have seen the price as $1 in the last bull run cycle and I expect that this will happen again and this is why now is a good opportunity when can take the right action to build a good leo stake.
My Leo Goal
In this year 2024, I will be trying to have 35K Leo power but my ultimate goal is to have 50K Leo power which I expect should be achieved in 2025. I have a long-term goal with Leo and this is the reason why whatever tokens I earn, are added to the stake and I also buy the token from the market whenever it is possible and power up to grow my holding. It's the same goal that I follow with hive and sps as well because I believe all these tokens are full of potential that will be reflected in the next few years and this is why this time when the market is in bearish sentiment can be a good time to accumulate more.
This is my goal for this year and why I power up in this event. This has helped me a lot to build a good steak and I hope in the next year or two I will be able to reach my ultimate goal which is possible through focus and attention. With LPUD, I get focused and I do not want to lose it hence I will continue to participate every month on this initiative and I hope more people join it to make it even bigger.
