It's just one week left for the end of the AirDrop of sps token and it seems like time is running so fast and now after one week there will be no AirDrop and the fun time is over. Sps is one of the governance tokens and they have been airdropping tokens every day since last year July month and during this. We have seen the all-time high price after token which was almost $1.00 an even the lowest which is close to four cents. You will know some people believe that sps price is going to be 1 cent which I don't think because after the AirDrop price is expected to rise however I'm not sure how much it will be but surely there should be some spike because the selling pressure will reduce. This is just a speculation that I am trying with the price after token however I can be wrong and it is a crypto market so anything is possible and no one is able to predict the market accurately.
Currently, the price range is around $0.05 and there is a slight increase in the price in the last couple of days however it is not big but even Bitcoin had shown some green color so it could be a similar impact on sps price as well. Splinterlands team has announced that soon sps will be part of the reward in the game and it will replace DC token which I think is a good decision because getting more sps through reward is going to be so good and will give another opportunity to accumulate more token in this take and earn a decent staking reward. Price has gone up by more than 6% in last 24 hours and if we compare the price from the last seven days window then I would say there is a good improvement in the price but it will be interesting to see if this moves stay stable or not or follow the same trend forward.
Here is my stake and I am moving towards reaching 53,000 tokens stake which is good because I am moving towards my goal slowly but I'm sure by the end of this year I should be able to achieve it. My ultimate goal is to accumulate 100k sps tokens and for these, I am left with almost half a year which I think is a good amount of time to make it happen. I do expect that market will remain same for the quite some time which can be the next few months at least and during this. I will try to buy as many as tokens I can on the basis of my funds availability and what price I can get from the market. Even after the AirDrop I'm not going to take out my steak anywhere and with this steak I should be able to earn about 34% of apr approximately which is pretty good and I am also accumulating some voucher tokens which I will try to convert to sps when the price looks good.
Node license is one of the things which I may think of if the sps prize grows but I have not decided however this is something that came in my mind last week and I might give it a try. The cost of one validator node license is more than 55,000 sps but there is an option to include 500 voucher tokens which will provide a 50% discount on the cost which is almost $1500 and after this discount, we can get one license for almost 28,000 sps tokens. Through this sale, a good amount of sps tokens are already burned and it will happen in the coming days as well so the less supply means the more value to the token economy.
Right now the price of voucher tokens is not so high and I already hold more than 100 tokens with me so I need to buy almost 400 tokens from the market and I can get these tokens for about 400 hive tokens maximum. Although I have not decided but I will surely think of it if I am going to buy one license and altogether I think I should be able to get it all in 3000 hive tokens including the cost of the voucher as well as sps tokens.
Investing in the game is definitely a good idea and I'm trying to do the same because I believe in the project and the ecosystem and this will grow significantly in the coming years because the adoption of play-to-earn games is too high and I can see lots of people joining the game and even get getting more attraction to the project.
