A thought provoking post. My one hope is that it doesn't become TOO purely business oriented. The current mix, of part social and part business with decent earning opportunities is really refreshing.
While I appreciate it will grow and change, if it becomes too business focused, there is a risk that "big players" will step in and throw money at it. Before we know it, coming to Hive would be like Facebook, with wall-to-wall advertising and the unusual and delightfully obscure content pushed out and harder to find. Getting the balance right is going to be important !
There's no way Hive will get to wear the "business" outlook as you have pointed out. The background and architecture of Hive is purely different.
The topic can be slightly controversial but the aim of the post is provoke users to maximize the Hive platform.
