Crypto Must Disconnect from the USA to Grow

Fyooz is a platform that distributes social tokens connected to Stars, who are people with some talent they need investment for. The platform has singers, fashionistas, and entertainers, but it also has nomads, minimalists, and chefs. Quite an array. All of the talents I checked out were quite, well, talented.

The platform itself is a better version of Kickstarter, because you can support individuals who don't prioritize scale. You can also sell tokens on a secondary market for profit or trade them for Fyooz tokens, which can be converted to BTC, yada and so on. The UI is great and the experience I had just browsing left me with a feeling of "this is the future."

Of course a platform this cool isn't open to the United States. Why? Because US regulators haven't found a way to screw up Fyooz's silky smooth process of investing in people. There has to be some complication that requires lawyers and forms, because otherwise, government couldn't excuse its useless presence in the room. God forbid I put $100 into an artist and the artist gets the entire $100. That's anarchy.

Of course if I feel like investing in one or more of these Stars, I'm gonna do it. Fuck the US government. But what impressed me is that this is a market that doesn't depend on the US. Since the US officially is on the blacklist and the company is Swiss anyway, all of the Stars were from other markets outside the US.

I can't tell you what a breath of fresh air it was to follow a young Fyooz singer and hear someone who wasn't trying to sound like the latest American pop star. I've traveled the world extensively. The US has a monopoly on pop culture. If you want to find anything authentic, you have to go to the poorest parts of town and dig way deeper than the average tourist would be willing to go. And since most of this culture is uninvested in, it hasn't grown or modernized. So all the singers with real voices and real culture don't get any play unless they throw all of that to the side and try to sound American. Garbage.

But the singer I found was pure. And the music was fantastic.

If you're reading this outside of the US, whether you're a crypto investor or someone looking for investment, consider the huge opportunity you have in crypto. Its an opportunity that the United States doesn't control and can't control. You can bring forward your culture without any pressure to conform to global popular culture, which is controlled by the US. Please, for the sake of the world, move forward bravely and with integrity using these new investment tools.

If there are artists outside of the US that sound nothing like the US, this will eventually expand into global pop culture. People will begin looking for non-US pop. This will bring pride back to underserved cultures, and I believe it will bleed over into commerce, politics and economy. You racist American libertarians should love this. If people want to make their own country better instead of looking for the quick buck, immigration to the US slows down. All US racists should support Fyooz.

And not just music but fashion, fooding, and overall way of life.

Fuck the US. You don't need them to make it, especially not with crypto.

Loool I wrote about Fyooz a couple of weeks back, but in different light, this is an interesting take however. Stifling development in an ever evolving space albeit under the guise of protecting the interest of unsavvy citizens who can't do their own research or make their own decisions only leads to one thing, redundancy. Perhaps they will take a cue when Libra launches under Swiss licence and new brand name.
