If Bitcoin Hits $100,000, So Will This Coin

in LeoFinance3 years ago

The mainstream is kinna educated on BTC, but they are far from knowledgeable about the wealth of opportunities in crypto. Bitcoin opened the door to all of the innovations that came after, but the innovations that came after are just as important.

There's one that is building on the BTC ideal and empowering the next level of decentralized finance. That coin is YFI.

Andre Cronje's Yearn.finance coin launched the decentralized finance movement. None of your favorite financial dapps could function on the level they are if YFI doesn't exist. Automatic yield search puts financial middlemen at a standstill and creates the groundwork for a truly decentralized economy. And that's why YFI will match bitcoin's performance — because it is just as important.

Need some more reasons: Here's just a few.

  1. YFI doesn't need mainstream adoption to make new highs. YFI made its only mainstream splash when its price vs. the USD reached a higher point than bitcoin. As I write this, bitcoin stands at $19,105. YFI is at $30,520.
  2. YFI has an ultra low supply. There are only 30,000 Yearn.finance coins as opposed to 21 million bitcoin. This means a much smaller audience can pump the price.
  3. YFI has a dedicated audience. Bitcoins have bitcoin maximalists. YFI has Yearners. The developer behind the innovation, Andre Cronje, is also quite active in the defi space. He is respected, even revered, next to Satoshi and Vitalik.
  4. The use cases for YFI continue to expand. Automated yield was only the first step in YFI's game. Currently, Cronje has formed partnerships with Cream.finance, Cover and other protocols to offer insured defi products and innovative fractional reserve ideas.
YFI continues to make bankers obsolete. By automating banking and doing it better than the bankers, YFI places itself firmly at the forefront of innovation.
  5. YFI development seems to be unique. Even in a culture of open source, no one seems to be able to match the adoption of the original Yearn.finance. There are countless clones — some successful, some not. But none of them have overtaken the original.

Thanks for the information, never heard of these guys. Also loving that post title. I'm close to finishing up an article on why I read the blogs that I do and your title popped and made me want to know what the other coin was. Well done! :)

Thanks for bringing this issue up. YFI should be worth 2BTC at any given time. If not, it is undervalued.
