The first quarter of 2021 is over, pretty fast actually and I find it a good exercise to revisit that post I wrote a few months ago about financial goals for 2021.
I wrote that post on January 4, 2021 exactly 3 months ago and it is time to evaluate how everything is going. At that time I told you that my investment strategies were:
- Convert most of my salary to foreign exchange and increase my investment in $HIVE and $LEO through content creation.
- To invest in other cryptocurrencies and learn about trading in order to make the best trades and get the maximum profit.
- Investing in buying products that I can trade to have it as additional income, as currently my income comes from my current job and Hive.

Ya ha terminado el primer trimestre del año 2021, bastante rápido la verdad y me parece un buen ejercicio revisar aquel post que escribí hace unos meses sobre objetivos financieros para el 2021.
Ese post lo escribí el 4 de enero del 2021 hace exactamente 3 meses y es momento de ir evaluando como va todo. En aquella oportunidad les conté que mis estrategias de inversión eran:
- Convertir la mayor parte de mi salario a divisas y aumentar mi inversión en $HIVE y $LEO a través de la creación de contenidos.
- Invertir en otras criptomonedas y aprender de trading para poder hacer las operaciones de la mejor forma y obtener el máximo beneficio.
- Invertir en la compra de productos que pueda comercializar para tenerlo como ingreso adicional, ya que actualmente mis ingresos provienen de mi trabajo actual y de Hive.
With respect to these points some things have changed, and so has my perspective on them. I recently changed jobs and the first point improved exponentially, I no longer have to worry about converting my salary to foreign currency, but I still have to increase my investment in $HIVE and $LEO.
These last few days I have had to think a bit really about how I am going to do with my daily expenses, because I have been between salary or Hive income. Don't judge me but I'm still learning and there are things about the 2.0 world that are hard to shake off.
But, after a couple of conversations with some friends, I have decided to stop the Power Down I was doing, use salary for daily expenses, make my posts at 50%/50% to generate HP and HBD. I think the HBD I will have as emergency money and money I can invest either in Hive or other cryptocurrencies.
And I would like to clarify that although I was doing Power Down, I was making my posts at 100% HP, I was just regulating what I wanted to get in that week, in a clearer way, to know how much money I could really count on.
Con respecto a estos puntos algunas cosas han cambiado, y también mi perspectiva al respecto. Hace poco cambié de trabajo y el primer punto mejoró exponencialmente, ya no tengo que preocuparme por convertir mi salario a divisas, pero todavía tengo que aumentar mi inversión en $HIVE y $LEO.
Estos últimos días he tenido que pensar un poco realmente como voy a hacer con mis gastos diarios, porque he estado entre el salario o los ingresos de Hive. No me juzguen pero yo todavía sigo aprendiendo y hay cosas del mundo 2.0 que son difíciles de quitar.
Pero, luego de un par de conversaciones con algunos amigos, he decidido parar el Power Down que estaba haciendo, utilizar el salario para los gastos diarios, realizar mis posts al 50%/50% para generar HP y HBD. Creo que el HBD lo tendré como dinero de emergencia y dinero que pueda invertir ya sea en Hive o en otras criptomonedas.
Y quisiera aclarar que aunque estaba haciendo Power Down, yo estaba haciendo mis posts al 100% HP, solo que regulaba lo que deseaba obtener en esa semana, dicho de una forma más clara, saber con cuánto dinero podría realmente contar.
Regarding my investment in Hive, it certainly has to increase, because it has not increased much lately, and regarding Leofinance the truth is that I have not spent much time on it, I think one of the things I will do is to make a list of ideal topics for this niche, I think that way I will have more clear what to talk about.
In relation to investing in other cryptocurrencies if I have done it, with some movements I have obtained $ADA, $DOT, $BTC, $BNB and the most important of this time the $BCH that generated every day with Noise.cash. I'm still a bit of a neophyte in this regard so I don't think I'm making the best moves, but I check the charts, some posts and decide to invest or generate money there.
I still don't know much about trading, although I have learned a few things, in that particular I consider myself to be quite a novice. However, now besides learning about trading, I want to learn about DeFi, in fact I tried to enter the CUB page but I did not understand anything and when I tried to connect a wallet I did not succeed. There is not much content in Spanish about it and what is in English is oriented to people who know more about the subject, so I feel a little lost but still looking for a way to learn.
Con respecto a mi inversión en Hive, ciertamente tiene que aumentar, porque no ha aumentado mucho últimamente, y con respecto a Leofinance la verdad es que no le he dedicado mucho tiempo, creo que una de las cosas que haré es hacer una lista de temas ideales para este nicho, creo que así tendré más claro de que hablar.
En relación a invertir en otras criptomonedas si que lo he hecho, con algunos movimientos he obtenido $ADA, $DOT, $BTC, $BNB y el más importante de este tiempo el $BCH que generó todos los días con Noise.cash. Aún soy un poco neófita en este sentido así que no creo que esté haciendo los mejores movimientos, pero yo reviso los gráficos, algunas publicaciones y me decido a invertir o a generar dinero allí.
Todavía no sé mucho sobre trading, aunque he aprendido algunas cosas, en ese particular considero que soy bastante novata. Sin embargo, ahora además de aprender de trading, quiero aprender de DeFi, de hecho intenté ingresar a la página de CUB pero no entendí nada y al intentar conectar alguna billetera no lo logré. No hay mucho contenido en español al respecto y el que está en inglés está orientado a personas que conocen más del tema, entonces me siento un poco perdida pero igual buscando la forma de aprender.
Regarding the purchase of products to have as additional income, well the truth is that I haven't really bought anything new, I still have makeup merchandise for the store. I am currently working with my boyfriend on the design of the store, the products we will offer and everything related to the Instagram store. Of course we will be accepting Hive and HBD so stay tuned for that announcement very soon.
Con respecto a la compra de productos para tener como ingreso adicional, pues la verdad no he comprado nada nuevo realmente, aún conservo mercancía de maquillaje para la tiendita. Actualmente estoy trabajando junto a mi novio en el diseño que tendrá la misma, los productos que ofreceremos y todo lo relacionado a la tienda de Instagram. Por supuesto aceptaremos Hive y HBD así que estén atentos muy pronto a ese anuncio.
At the end of the post I wrote at that time I emphasized that I should avoid unnecessary expenses and improve the technological tools I currently have in order to optimize my work. Regarding these last points I think I have been doing quite well, I have a weekly amount to contribute to the household expenses and I don't really go out much so I don't spend money on anything.
And with respect to technological tools, I feel lucky because I was recently able to buy my smartphone which allows me to take amazing pictures and allows me to manage all the applications I need without worrying about memory. Also my laptop has been pretty good, so I think everything is fine on that side.
Al final del post que escribí en aquella oportunidad destaqué que debía evitar realizar gastos innecesarios y mejorar las herramientas tecnológicas que poseo actualmente con el fin de optimizar el trabajo. En cuánto a estos últimos puntos creo que he estado bastante bien, semanalmente tengo un monto para aportar en los gastos de la casa y realmente poco salgo así que no gasto dinero en cualquier cosa.
Y con respecto a las herramientas tecnológicas, actualmente me siento afortunada porque hace poco pude comprar mi smartphone el cual me permite tomar unas fotografías increíbles y me permite manejar todas las aplicaciones que necesito sin preocuparme por memoria. Además mi laptop se ha portado bastante bien, así que creo que por ese lado todo está muy bien.
I hope to write a progress report on these objectives in a few more months. It is important that we evaluate to improve the plan if necessary, that's why I would like to invite everyone who participated in that @theycallmedan initiative to also evaluate how their goals are going in this first quarter of 2021. Espero volver a escribir un avance con respecto a estos objetivos en unos meses más. Es importantes que evaluemos para mejorar el plan si es necesario, es por eso que me gustaría invitar a todos los que participaron en esa iniciativa de @theycallmedan a evaluar también como van sus objetivos en este primer trimestre del año 2021.
