The last lines got my attention the most. My country, Pakistan, is also going towards default. The corruption is at its peak. Despite having so many natural and human resources we are just going backwards.

I think many third world countries will do better if they had better administration. It's so sad they can't get good administration by the ruling class.
There is a saying in my language,
"As people, as rulers". Perhaps we as a nation need to inculcate good habits and leave bad habits. And need to stand for the cause
