Obviously it is awful and a major pain in the ass. From what I read on Twitter it is getting back to normal and they made strides. There are still a few things to work out.
It sucks but that is where resiliency comes in.

Do you think this ( or events like these ) are major problem for us who promote Hive as a decentralized platform where security is a plus point?

Not at all. One doesnt have to do with the other. This situation is an internal matter for 3Speak. The same thing could happen on Ethereum with Uniswap if someone hacked that code and started messing around.
Hive is decentralized to the degree no one person has a majority of the tokens (or even a large percentage relatively speaking). At the same time, we run the witness system, ensuring there are not just a few nodes verifying transactions.
Finally, we have a lot of development teams. 3Speak is just one of them. Leo has their own. Hive.blog has blocktrades. Peakd is their own team.
So overall things are getting more decentralized with greater token distribution, more tribes/apps, and more wealth generated.

No it seems they got things under control fairly quickly. The hack comments following some people around seems to be gone today. I just tried to send through a video, we will see if it works.

I think its bad but I think its better now rather than later. This will bring awareness to the system and everyone will have to plan for such problems.
Imagine what would happen and the chaos that would happen if everything took off and we had 10x the users?

I hear you . It's true but still I don't know why but it tells me we are yet to be completely decentralized? I might be wrong in saying that but it feels like that.

I don't think we have the infrastructure to be fully decentralized. I think the blockchain and HE are decentralized due to witness nodes. However images and videos have not been. Also the sites that run their front-ends are also not decentralized.

Exactly my point . That was what I am trying to tell , we should not just tell the users platform is decentralized , what about development?
This might pose problems regarding "giving keys/ authority" to other tribes.

Well it is obvious this was a core developer. No way to fully prevent a hijacking but it is good it happened now with the numbers rather low.
It is also a good reason to delay projectblank since we want that to be right as soon as it is released. It has to be mostly bug free because we are going to tout the living hell out of it.
The worst thing to do is to market something that doesnt work. Quickest way to kill a project.
