Seems like the @lbi-gov recent voting post is getting a lot of NO which means we will get dividends every week if the trend of NO continues.
Discuss here what are the pros and cons?

Pros: Every payment in the future will be bigger. Overtime the dividends will be greater than if you didn't take dividends right now.
Cons: You get dividends now and you can put it to use to buy more LBI, SPI or whatever you want. This means you can decide where to put your funds and what you consider important.

I think so too . I think people are being restless right now but I get their point too . Overall it will be the community decision . I haven't voted yet because all my LBI are in other account , I will vote soon .
I think instead of Yes or no in comment they must too have a comment put up by @lbi-gov as YES or NO and then ask people to vote on it .
It is easier that way I guess .
Damn I wish I was on the governance team lol.

Lol. You can always leave a comment about it in discord so the current team knows. Also I think the team will change in the future as they have a set term right now.

Nah nah lol I got too much stuff on my hands right now.
Every week some or the other team has been asking me to write scripts so .
But in future I definitely want to be involved with them , they are great..

Sad news to me but the community will have the say.
As I stated elsewhere I think most people are so money hungry they want dividends. Sadly for them, their weekly payouts will disappoint.
Those with large LBI stakes will get some money but the insightful way to do it is to let it build. With the rate things are going, a year could lead to an enormous foundation to work from.

Shall I do some math to see if LBI paid our dividends tomorrow how much will people get weekly?
I am thinking of doing it so that people can make an informed decision .
I will take the last 2 weeks earning average from @lbi-token report to do the math .

Yea I think it would be useful towards people making opinions. I think you should add the break-even date for both decisions.

Yeah I already have the data . I will just ask @silverstackeruk once to go ahead with this and I have a doubt too ( whether @lbi-token will be taking a cut from 50% user dividends or not ).
As @taskmaster4450le mentioned , the payout doesn't look that exciting for small holders .
I didn't get you . You mean when the last 2 holdings report posts were made by @lbi-token?

What I mean is that there are pros and cons. Eventually you will get less money if you take dividends now. Which means lets say we take dividends now instead of building a base, we earn 5 cents and we compound that.
Where as we build our base and 9 months from now we start with a dividend of 10 cents. Eventually the total paid out price will break-even and the one that built the base will pay more over time. This is what I mean by break-even date or time.

Oh okay I got it now . Break-even of both decision means - Break even if we take dividends now or later .
Yeah I will calculate that too ( it will be a bit difficult because the earnings of @lbi-token will not stay the same ) but yeah I can take average and calculate that .
If I have to get this post out , I have to get it out tomorrow so that there is sufficient time for people to see and decide.

.00245 LEO per LBI held based upon what the earnings were in yesterday's report.
I am not sure that will help a lot of people considering how much LBI they have. The larger accounts, sure. But if someone has 100 LBI, how much are they really getting?
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Well there is a problem with 0.00245 too because LEO has only 3 decimal points .
Yeah that's what I am trying to show actually . I checked with @silverstackeruk and he mentioned @lbi-token won't be taking the dividends so I made the math and rounded them off to 3 decimal point and stuff .
I will put it infront of people and also try to explain what would happen if we vote for YES and what would happen to the dividends if we vote for NO . Let them decide .
