The fact it went off without a hitch is something that has to give people more confidence. The core development team is far ahead of the last group (perhaps it was a leadership issue).

I think it was going up in price before that since HBD pumped beforehand. Afterwards, HBD went back down but HIVE stayed up.

I agree with your view that it was leadership. Our current governance (witnesses) at the top seem to be doing a pretty good job with a little squabble now and again.

I think you made an excellent move. Having a nice stake of the base layer coin will come in handy as well as some liquid.
