It's a great idea, I like it!
I usually don't write descriptions for my artworks, mostly because I don't want to pull someones interpretation in a certain direction. But what you said about storytelling makes me think. A description doesn't need to give an interpretation, it could just be a little piece of storytelling to give the art an additional touch.

That's a great point, anafae! You're right that a description can affect someone's creative interpretation of an artwork. It's a fine line to walk, I suppose, but the right words may help to set the tone. The wrong words, in any case, will only hurt the artist and their art.
