I have doubled the size of my X account by dedicating 1 hour to meaningful interactions, and by tuning in on spaces every day and participating in those where I have something worthy to add to the conversation.
It's a slow grind but once you grow to a certain level the growth is faster, all you need to do is know what you are doing.
Here's my X growth strategy to grow my account through Long Form posts and meaningful interactions:
General Strategy
There's so much noise on X and I don't have a ton of time for content discovery and to support the people that are supporting me. So I created a list of these people and I browse that list using this short strategy:
1- Go to my lists and choose the list of authors and the feed. I check the last 24 hours and reply to all the long form posts there.
2- Then I publish my own long form post for the day.
3- I reply to all the replies in my long form content from the day before.
4- During the day I post some short form content, which allows me to provide my followers with short interactions in case they don't want to read my bibles.
Creating long form content for X
I try to post a long form post on X every day. The algo loves consistency and it pushes way harder long form content with replies than short form.
1- I usually just repurpose my Hive content that is relevant to my brand and the topics that I write about.
2- If it's a new post idea, I make sure to post first on Hive.
3- If I'm repurposing a hive post, I must tweak it because the audiences are different. More on that below.
How to write a good long form post on X
Don't add hashtags, the algo is already reading your content and detecting keywords.
1- Break your text in small chunks. Long paragraphs on Hive work fine, but people on X are more simple and have short attention spans.
2- Keep it interesting on every small paragraphs. Leave white space between paragraphs.
3- Use one liners every 2-3 paragraphs.
4- Paragraphs that can be made into lists, should be posted as lists.
5- Use emojis, but don't over use them. Dumb X users like color.
6- Use the three available slots for images. Place these images as divisors when the post is taking a turn in topic.
7- I use bold text to divide topics if the post is too long or the topic is changing, but not changing enough to require an image. The success of this bold usage has not been confirmed 🤣
8- Finish with a strong statement that makes people want to click on your profile and see your bio (where you point people to your selected frontend).
Every once in a while, post personal stuff, the X audience loves it when you connect with them at a personal level.
How to repurpose your own content from Hive
1- If it's too niche, make it a little broader, but not so much that it stops appealing to your branded audience (three columns in the sheet).
2- If you are talking about hive, repurpose the content to talk about X.
3- The X audience is dumber. Remember to shorten paragraphs and say more with less words.
4- Go to the point fast.
Tips
1- For the love of God, don't add link to Tweets.
2- Add as a reply a screenshot of the original post on a hive frontend, and mention that this post was originally posted on @frontend of your choice.
3- Invite people to check your bio.
This is how I do it:
Perfect scenario
1- I stack views from commenting on big accounts.
2- I stack followers from our own niche by engaging with small accounts from that niche.
3- I push other Hivers content with my replies, making them get more views.
4- I cross 5M views on X.
I get paid for this while growing the hive ecosystem and building my brand on X, so I can bring in more users as I grow.
To take into account
Stop posting one Tweet with some hashtags, a link and a short description. These Tweets are incredibly toxic and the algo hates them!
No more linkdropping, users will come to Hive through your content quality and your bio, users are clicking fewer links by the day and Elon is suppressing users who link to websites outside of the platform.
Don't post too much short content, 2-3 a day is more than enough.
Also, mind your retweets and quote retweets, don't do more than 1-2 a day or your followers will get tired of seeing stuff they are not interested in.

I believe your account must have been Monetised right
Not yet, I need to reach 5M impressions. I'm not aiming to get monetized, I just need an audience to bring them to hive hehe
Hehe that's good then. I was thinking you are working towards monetisation
Nooo, it takes too much time and effort, it's easier to build a brand a get more followers and then, when you are a giant, try to monetize.
But it's not for me right now, my focus is in bringing people to leo
