For future contests and initiatives, yes.
That will be a good idea but may be give people option to switch sides. I have my bros on the other side :D ha ha

That's a good idea. Gamification at its best. But I can tell you that this is fun and create a community vibe with competition
Yes this is the intricacy. On the one side you force people to make new friends, but on the other hand it is more fun if you do it with your friends on your side. So it's tricky
I am friends with almost everyone ha ha but I want my #football bros to be together so that we have threadcasts
Maybe mix up the teams and what type of reward would people get? I think it's nice to have but people are motivated for the XP and the potential rewards.

Playing as a team is a lot of fun, but I understand why some people may not enjoy it, as it can be random and you rely on the efforts of others (which can be frustrating).

Yeah and who knows, maybe this can be a filter, or the leader picks the top 10 they want and we create other teams etc. Who knows, so much to think about and perhaps it's not the moment, maybe when we are more users

1/ That would be nice. Here is an idea: the armies could continue to exist but people get reassigned at every new contest. We get different badges (or NFTs?) for each of the contests we participate in depending on which army we end up
2/ The winning army could be awarded a champion badge as well. This way, we would always be mixing things up but we would still have a way to look back to all the wars the fought and the armies we fought for
3/ We could keep track of the wins and create a lore around it so for example, this time the #blacklions will obviously win so next time the story is that the mighty Black Lions are fighting to maintain their domain...
4/ While the other armies have to fight to de-throne the might black lions and end their reign of shadows!
