LEODEX also has a backdoor into HiveEngine and the Hive ecosystem
At one point you could trade LEO, HIVE, HBD, SPS and even other tokens from Hive-Enfgine... but for the last few monthes everytime I checked Leodex all Hive-Engine tokens were disabled and I couldn't find a way to buy/sell them... not sure why and if it's a temporary thing or not.
Besides that, Leodex looks great.
LEO is listed on MAYA (LEO/CACAO) and MAYA has been constantly shitting the bed because of their ZCASH privacy coin integration. Makes sense because privacy coins are a tough nut to crack.
Before that Hive Keychain was disabled because of all the upgrades they were making to the L1 side of things. Once MAYA comes back online there should be a connection through https://wleo.io... the ability to wrap and unwrap LEO on arbitrum to and from HiveEngine. Very basic and ruins all the single click swap features but still a viable option.
Cool! I didn't know about that site to wrap/unwrap LEO: at least that's better than nothing.
Another issue I have with Leodex, though, is that I can't find routes for a lot of swaps that (presumably) should have one... like I can find a way to swap LEO for something else (might a temporary issue or something on my end?).
All in all, Leodex looks very cool, but I wasn't able to use it yet due to these issues 😅
That's not really a problem with LEODEX as the MAYA L1 has been absolutely unreliable during this ZCASH integration. It will probably take a while to work out all the kinks.
Gotcha, I didn't get it the first time you said it 🤣 so it's MAYA the one creating these issues... hope they solve quickly, because to me 99% of the utility of Leodex comes from the ability to move funds from Hive to other chains and viceversa.
Yeah same here, I wanted to swap some HIVE for another coin on LEODEX but keychain was greyed out. According to the lat video Khal said they used to have hive and hbd but it didn't get a lot of usage, so they are focusing on other things. He said we have to manually bridge LEO over to Arbitrum, but these are too many steps for me so i doubt I will use it.

That would be very sad... Leodex looked awesome to bridge coins in and out of Hive. I hope they can get the Keychain integration back at some point: maybe if the altseason comes, more people would be interested to use a bridge like that.
Yeah, this looks way less user-friendly... and there would be a lot of fees/slippage involved, I guess.
