The only problem with people selling is that they decide to sell everything rather than employing an actual strategy for reducing volatility and hedging bets. Going all or nothing is an irresponsible strategy when dealing with crypto.
Yes, I've spread my things out quite nicely so one crypto mooning doesn't make me rich, but a single cliff dive doesn't make me looking for a homeless shelter.
