The majority of us are already trapped in the system with bills to pay. Not getting a regular income is not an option.
Passive investing is all that we can afford with the left over energy after work and family.

Passive investing is only passive once the system is in place and effort has been made in the beginning when the numbers are small.
Thanks to compounding interest, it's a matter of time before it reaches a point where the investment can work passively. But it won't reach that point without initial work.
