Emily Ratajkowski, born June 7, 1991, in London to American parents, is an American model and actress raised in Encinitas, California. She began modeling young, signing with Ford Models, and debuted on the cover of the erotic magazine treats! in March 2012. This led to high-profile music videos, including her breakout in Robin Thicke's "Blurred Lines" in 2013, which brought global fame.
Her acting career started with a supporting role in Gone Girl (2014) as Ben Affleck's character's mistress. She featured in the 2014 and 2015 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issues and made her runway debut for Marc Jacobs at New York Fashion Week in 2015, later walking Paris and Milan Fashion Weeks. Ratajkowski has since appeared in films, campaigns, and written a book on feminism and body image.
