RE: Is anyone still collecting their Ste.. Hive-Engine tokens?

in LeoFinance5 years ago

I never thought SE tokens were a very good idea. 10-20 is perhaps fine, but we quickly had 100s. It didn't work with ERC-20 tokens (most of them) why this time it will be different? Same thoughts will apply to SMT/HMT whatever.

My question is why this planet need 1000s of tokens? Why we need 1000s of crypto for that matter.

The bear market in alt coins; which is permanent in my opinion, is a clear reflection of that. Without a clear use case no token should exists. It does not matter which side-chain, which main chain you are talking about.

Inflation of the token is a key thing. Any token with a billion or trillion supply have no where else to go but zero.

During 2018, a one point, I use to own, 60 different coins/tokens. I have regretted as one of the most stupid financial thing that I have done in my life. I have sold them all, at pennies on the dollar. I plan to learn from that mistake.

Currently I own only 4 Crypto-currencies. I plan to get it down to 3 in the next 78 days. "This time it will be different" ? Really?

I definitely agree that there are far too many SE tokens, and the token economics mostly range from poor to absolutely terrible.

A permanent alt-coin bear market, that's one way to look at it :) I suppose it depends what you class as an alt coin - ETH?

4 -> 3, I wonder which one is on the way out? :)

BTC, ETH and Hive. I strongly ask myself all the time if ETH is a shitcoin. But at least it has some projects on top of it, and that chain is busy...
