Reached 8000 total Hive Power

It was indeed quite a journey so far. I'm very happy to share that I have reached 8000 Hive power in total. This is purely the HP that I own and not from any incoming delegation. A few days back when there was a huge pump in the price of Hive tokens, I noticed that my profile value was worth a bitcoin. I even made a post witnessing that. Today the value is not even half of that but that is something expected. Other than that for being in this chain for over 3 years, I guess 8000 HP is a satisfying achievement to feel happy about.

When I joined the Steem platform 2 years back the price of Steem was at the peak and I even witnessed the price hit 8 dollars. Those days when the price was 5$ per steem, a person with a 10000 SP stake had a vote value worth over 1$ but today it is not even 10 cents considering the current price. Considering the recent pump that happened, I now believe that those days can be back if the price of Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies pump once again.

I'm also very happy to share that I never cashout from Steem or Hive. Even during the recent pump, it was so tempting to sell my 140 liquid Hive for a decent profit but I didn't do that. I have also invested a lot on this platform. To be precise other than a money investment, I have invested lots of time here. I will take this opportunity to thank everyone who held my hand and supported in my journey here. Without support from the community this would have not been possible at all. I'm excited to continue my journey towards 10,000 Hive Power which is my target for the near future.

I also quickly queried the blockchain for some status. My current rank is 1655 with a total of 15623246.730455 Vesting shares. I would like to continue moving ahead and get a better ranking. There are totally of 1379441 accounts in the blockchain. Being in 1655 rank out of all those accounts out there is definitely a great thing. I'm very happy about it. I hope someday my stake would increase even further and it creates a better motivation for me to be active on this platform.
