Courage.

Courage, or rather, bravery, is something that, while in some situations it helps us overcome obstacles, in others it forces us to make mistakes.

It's something that must be taken very carefully, according to the prescription, and not consumed in excess or insufficient amounts.

Although, if you're a lion living in the Land of Oz and dreaming of acquiring courage, then you don't have to weigh the gift of courage you've received, lol.

In such a situation, the remark one comedic character made, "I'm not a coward, but I'm afraid," is almost inapplicable, especially if you've firmly decided to paint something with watercolors on a snow-white sheet of paper using a brush.

I'm familiar with this, and it's a case where I can't say I'm not afraid.

Yes, I had some watercolor paintings to learn from, some very bold artists who weren't afraid of unnecessary stains on the paper and worked with the courage of a marble sculptor.

I couldn't do it that way, and if I was too bold, I didn't like the result, and if I was too cautious, I saw absolutely no courage in the work and the result didn't satisfy me.

I think about this every time I look at the very bold pictures nature paints on the surface of water in the form of reflections.
