Something specific.
Some things, objects, tastes, aromas, food, clothing, or anything else that can only be understood by a few people, and not by the majority of humanity, are considered specific, and this is very interesting.
Yes, specificity can be very powerful, like a hyperbole that soars and then immediately collapses to zero.
No one who has tasted Swedish surströmming herring, which would make a normal person's stomach churn, will argue with this, but since someone cans this herring, someone might appreciate it.
With a less extreme approach, you can try Dorblu cheese, but if you repeat my mistake and heat it up in the microwave, I doubt you'll ever understand its unique aroma. LOL.
Even aged, mold-free sheep's cheese requires special treatment and requires a unique approach from those who taste it, one that can be appreciated over time.
Some people boldly and happily eat durian, while others won't even come within a cannon shot of it.
But let's turn to another area of specialty: external beauty, which not everyone can understand.
Just look at this seemingly ugly stump.
For some, it's hideous, resembling a bristling hedgehog, and less appealing than a Bavarian meat hedgehog, as they call the fresh ground pork spread on bread in those parts. For many, this is nonsense.
This tree stump would be appreciated by a cabinetmaker or an experienced aquarist who creates underwater landscapes with live plants. I think that, upon seeing this tree stump, Takashi Amano would immediately understand how to position it in an aquarium and would spend considerable time making it lose its positive buoyancy by boiling it and soaking it in a concentrated salt solution for an extended period.
What seems ugly can become the highlight of an aquarist's work.

Material thoughts about beekeeping №1
When I visited dense forests, I did not see ideal conditions for bees there, but many beekeepers harvest beekeeping products in such places.
