Monthly Progress Report May

End of our second full month on Hive, and it has been a blast. On the 22nd of the month I was fortunate to receive a delegation that pretty much doubled my Hive Power. This week has seen a nice increase in my curation rewards as you will see a spike in one chart below that Asher provided for me.

So on with the charts, First the Montly Earnings chart:

And prior to the break down here is the curation chart that Asher (@abh12345), provided for me.

Along with the chart above Asher provides a break down of your engagement and earnings for the month. Here is the link to his post, and if you are are curious here is the link to my report.

Postings:

A couple more than last month. I was able to continue to spread my post throughout various communities, and utilized nine different communities to share the little bits of content I produce. Communities are the future of Hive, so when posting if your post will fit a specific or even just a niche community I would recommend the utilization of them. After I have voted for the user I like and whose content I appreciate if I have extra votes I travel the communities I follow and look for new and interesting things to vote in them.

Comments:

I was a little bit more active in my comments this month, along with my vote I do like to leave a nice relevant comment on some of post I read and or look at. I wish I had more time for comments, but some days, I just want to sit, view and vote. Some content will take me awhile to return to and leave a comment, they make you think or question, and on those post I really want a good relevant comment.

Even if it is only two or three post that you comment on, that lets people know you did more than just vote, and may draw them over to your content to see what you have.

Votes/Self-Votes:

This is information provided by Asher in my personal report from him,

In May, you cast 1058 votes, 1 of these were downvotes, and 0 votes were cast to self.

Your average vote weight (to the nearest whole number) in May was 31%.

Asher is the only one I know that provides that monthly information.

Hive Earnings and Growth:

Total HP earned is above the average, however that number is still skewed from the partial month of March, it looks like a decrease in earnings, however that total does not take into account the HBD earnings and their conversions to Hive. I was tracking all my HBD to Hive conversions unfortunately the spreadsheet I was keeping track of everything on crashed and I had to start from scratch a week and a half ago. (lesson learned, I now have back-ups).

Almost a 1500 HP increase since Hive began. Three more weeks and my power down will be complete over on steem, and then I can fully concentrate on Hive. It is a slow growth process, but still I feel my account growth is adequate for me and the amount of Hive power I have.

My reputation number continues to increase, this is also a slow growth area, however it does slowly increase over time, and as I am able to get a few more post out this will grow a little bit more, or so I hope.

Curation APR, this is a service provided by LEO Finance via their Leo Stats page, I like it. It changes a lot, I have seen it at 6.0% and as high as 8.8% over the course of the day, but the number presented is what it was when I last looked. It has been a long time since banks paid that kind of interest.

Conclusion:

It was a pretty productive month for me. I was holding a little hope out for steem to do a turn around, but after the last HF, I can see it will not turn in a direction that would be viable for me so I did start a full power down. I will miss steem, I have a lot of fond memories over there, but I think a full power down is in my best interest.

I am looking forward to see what the next three weeks will bring with the HP delegation I received, and with my continuing to power down and convert steem to Hive. I am hoping the curation rewards will continue to hold at that 11.00 to 12 Level a week, we will see.

By the end of the month I hope to have or be very close to 5000 HP of my own, on steem it was looking like early in the year it would be possible to almost be there by the end of this year, now with my full move over to Hive, June looks to be a good month.
