Hahaha yes, that's what I've seen some do here indeed. Myself included. After interacting with someone here and I see that my response is half of a A-4, I'll consider writing something about it.
And like @rarej said, the interaction should be genuine. I've responded to multiple posts here and it didn't get far as a "thank you" or whatever, but the people who were/are genuine, those I started following and vice versa.
Yeah.😀 I guess engaging in conversation is one way to gain some inspiration on what to blog about as in topics and issues that members of the community will find interest in.
