The idea is nice, but it depends on the society and cultural impedances where you live, this affects how you think and do.
This seems similar to what we teach our kids when handing over them piggy banks to put any unspent money for future toys or other stuff.
Culture influences for sure, but we are not 100% toed to our culture, we can change. This is how culture changes :)
