I think it's simple: they're finally taking profits.
Many said they would wait for Bitcoin to hit six figures before selling. Many of those OG accounts bought when Bitcoin was hundreds or thousands to purchase. Combined with Trump destroying the economy in realtime, people are taking profits and getting out so they have a buffer incase things get bad.
