The crypto space experienced some extreme events these days with a flash crash and a fast rebound. And while the Hive blockchain is pretty specialized as a web3 social media platform, it didn't stay aside and was affected as well by this. While it did not yet retrace the price before the crash, it is slowly recovering from that. And as we wait for that to happen and hope for better prices on the markets, I will simply focus on creating more content and engaging and taking a look at the new Hive blockchain communities that were created in the last month (September 2025).
In September 2025 there were 15 new communities created on the Hive blockchain. They continue to bring diversification in the subject that are covered in this ecosystem and some of them they bring novelty by entering domains that I never heard before. These are the perfect ingredients for sustainable growth which will be seen in time. New communities also means that we are far away than covering domain of interest and as user find niches not covered they dip their those and give it a shoot. And who knows, from all these new communities, maybe great projects will be implemented and will help grow the entire ecosystem from here.

Top 3 Hive Communities - September 2025
1. Hive Growth Hub
From what I've gathered, this aims to be a collaborative space focused on promoting initiatives that strengthen Hive’s ecosystem through education, engagement and innovation. It highlights on-chain projects, creator efforts and growth stories. The community acts as a launchpad for ideas that bring tangible value and visibility to Hive. And their goal is already taking shape through 126 members that already have boarded it.
2. Midnight Letters
Seems to be a space for creative refuge for night owls who express themselves through heartfelt writings, art and personal reflections. It seems to center on emotional storytelling and artistic calm, embracing the beauty of solitude and introspection. The atmosphere is intimate and poetic, inviting members to share their midnight musings without judgment. Quite an unexpected community where tranquility breaths creativity from 71 members already.
3. Snapie
Something that I didn't know before, this seems to be a hub for users of the Snapie, an app where photo sharing and creative storytelling meets Hive blockchain technology. It celebrates moments captured through lenses, blending visual artistry with on-chain engagement. The community serves as the social core for Snapie enthusiasts to connect, share and grow together. And I think this is a great fit, something that I've even thought about when I created "The Lost Memories" community and project still in the making (https://peakd.com/@thelostmemories).
Overall I believe that the new Hive communities established in September 2025 bring new engagement and cover additional domains that at least myself I didn't think about. We already see some of them getting traction, while others are still yet to move from the concept and idea phase to something more factual. But nevertheless having another 15 communities added to the Hive blockchain ecosystem is encouraging and shows that we are alive and growing. And that's all that really matters!

Good to have more communities but I believe there should be good engagement also otherwise it does not serve the purpose.
Indeed, but starting is the hardest thing. Once you do that tokenomics can come from many use cases and creativity. The only enemy is the time, just to have time to nurture these communities.
I will love to create a 'Wildlife community' in the future. Unfortunately for now I have neither the stability nor resources to do so.
