This is a good tutorial although you can trade HBD for HIVE on the internal marketplace rather than converting in. This way there is no 3-day waiting time and you aren't influenced by market evolution in that timeframe, but rather sell on the spot price from that moment. That is the easiest way to do it, just click on the Market option on your HBD amount.
