Great perspective over working goals rather than numbers. We need to enjoy the ride as well and not just the destination. For me numbers are more about a wealth status that we want to achieve while that can be obtained in different ways like content creation and curation, but also through Miners, Play2Earn or DeFi and other passive investments. In this context, the numbers make more sense as you cannot express as a working goal that I want to get $1,000 in TribalDex or something alike.

Certainly there are many different aspects to focus upon. We can get rewarded in many different ways. However, that all does break down to activity. For example, to be success on @splinterlands, one better set the goal of playing games each day. To skip that part will means one is not going to enjoy the success he or she hopes.
